Emotional Intelligence (EI) just means “being smart with feelings.” EI is accurately identifying and carefully using feelings and thinking to generate effective actions. While many people have been taught to “leave their emotions at the door,” our premise, based on current neuroscience, is that emotions are essential to effective decision-making and motivation.
If people use their EI effectively, they will be better able to influence others, to communicate, and to stay focused on the critical path. This is why Harvard Business Review says emotional intelligence is “the key to professional success.”
These workshops introduce key drivers of performance and set the stage to go more deeply into topics of emotional intelligence. Most of the workshops use a simple, powerful assessment tool called the Emotional Intelligence Mapping Assessment (EIMA) to generate and subsequently discover & offer participants a clear, actionable way to understand themselves and others.
